John Hamond, aged 20, found guilty on an indictment for breaking into the dwelling house of John Savall in the parish of Theydon Bois on 4th July 1800; and stealing therefrom  a pair of shoes (valued at 2/6), 3 pairs of stockings (valued at 3/-), a coat (valued at 11/-), 3 shirts (valued at 10/-), another shirt (valued at 1/-), a buckle (valued at 1/-), a pair of breeches (valued at 10/-), a hat (valued at 4/-) and 3 gowns (valued at 1/11.
